You will be surrounded by passionate experts who will support and mentor you, helping you grow into a world-class engineer of tomorrow.

What You’ll Be Doing

From day one, you’ll be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary medical development team, tackling real technical challenges while receiving guidance and training from experienced engineers. You’ll gain hands-on experience with a wide range of applications, from tiny, wirelessly powered medical implants to large-scale diagnostic equipment. You might find yourself working with analogue circuits, digital systems, FPGAs, antennas, signal processing, and much more.

Your Role & Opportunities

During your internship, you will likely:

  • Design and support electronics for multi-disciplinary projects, collaborating with engineers across all development stages.
  • Create and implement your own printed circuit boards using Altium.
  • Build experience using and automating precision test and measurement equipment.
  • Contribute to innovation in workshops and technical reviews.
  • Analyse experimental data and develop conclusions to shape project outcomes.
  • Learn and apply modern soldering techniques.
  • Document your work through technical analyses, test plans, and reports.
  • Present your technical findings to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
  • Balance your time effectively across multiple project commitments.
  • Gain invaluable insight from the talented professionals around you.

What You Can Bring

We are looking for someone undertaking a degree in a relevant subject, such as electronics, electrical, software physics or computer science, and has:

  • Curiosity, a passion for learning, and a drive to see the bigger picture.
  • Hands-on experience with electronics lab equipment and soldering tools.
  • A solid understanding of electronics fundamentals.
  • Exposure to software development.

Your application

Within your application please include a cover letter explaining why this opportunity excites you, what you can bring to our team, and any achievements you are particularly proud of. We would love to hear about any software, electronics, or engineering projects that have inspired you—whether personal, academic, or professional.
