Synopsis: Developing sustainable medical devices is often seen as conflicting with cost or usability, but with an effective approach it can in fact be a tremendous opportunity. Using a conceptual body worn injector case study, this talk will show case how to:
- Leverage relevant data from Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and other tools to enable insight driven optimisation towards highest priorities
- Navigate the trade-offs and optimizing for a reduced environmental impact and patient-centric design
