Careers at CC
Pre-university
At CC, we offer a range of technical apprenticeships to those who are not looking to take the typical university route and for those considering a career change. You will have the ability to gain professional qualifications while learning on the job and earning a competitive salary. It’s time to find out what inspires you.
For those intending to go to university, we offer technology scholarships schemes to passionate gap year students who have completed their A-levels (or equivalent) and are planning to study STEM related subjects at university.
This is an opportunity for hands-on experience working within STEM, to develop your skills and to contribute to exciting projects and challenges. Team building exercises like the tech scholar challenge and the tech scholar project competition are great ways for you as a gap year student to put a multitude of skills to the test.
When the placement year has finished, you’ll receive an annual bursary throughout the duration of your university degree. This is alongside a guaranteed eight week period of summer work with us.
Undergraduate
As an undergraduate university student, you’ll have the opportunity to join us for a paid 12-month internship as a part of your degree.
You will be able to learn from experts in a manner of disciplines and be given real responsibility. This is the chance to show us your skills – and it may lead to a full-time job after graduation.
Graduate
Graduates get to work on projects they’re passionate about from the get-go. Unlike graduate schemes, we give you full flexibility and the opportunity to enhance your skills.
You’ll be a trusted member of the team and allowed to take the reins on what you’re good at straight away. We make sure you’re recognised for your contribution and given the springboard to forge a unique and fulfilling career.

Frequently asked questions
Can I apply for more than one role?
Yes, if you feel that more than one role is of interest, we actively encourage you to apply for multiple. In fact, you can apply to as many as you like and we won’t discredit you.
Do you offer summer internships?
All of our internships are 12-month placements so you can be involved in client projects, typically these start between May – October time each year.
Do you have deadlines on your applications?
Typically, our roles are managed on a rolling basis with no deadlines, but we’d advise you to apply sooner rather than later. Although, if we’ve had a role on our website for a while it’s still worth making an application as often, we’re recruiting several candidates for one role.
Do you have a graduate scheme?
No. When we hire graduates, we want them to do what they’re good at, instead of rotating from one department to another. If you join us, you’ll do what you do best as a trusted member of the team.
Do you provide visa sponsorship?
Yes, for graduates you would progress from a student visa to a graduate visa for two years, then after this point we sponsor skilled worker visa’s and cover costs involved.
Should I attach a portfolio for my design application?
For all of our design internships and graduate roles, you must submit a portfolio for us to consider your application. We’d encourage showcasing your design thinking across the full project cycle, including hand sketching, prototyping and product rendering.
