Cambridge Consultants has optimised the critical performance characteristics of a novel nebuliser drug delivery device significantly enhancing the yield of this safety-critical regulated device.
Cambridge Consultants concentrated on the mechanism of droplet formation applying a fundamental understanding of how the control and response of the droplet engine affects droplet size and flow rate. Applying a novel tracking control algorithm we were able to control and improve the drug delivery performance.
Novel multi frequency analysis was applied to build in critical safety control. Cambridge Consultants created a custom PCB design and controller hardware and software.
Performance of the device was optimised in the essential area of optimum drug delivery performance and most importantly stabilised over the duration of typical treatment. The manufacturing yield was significantly improved.
